Terms of Service

Important terms about client-side encryption and password responsibility.

1. Password responsibility

NourCrypt uses zero-knowledge architecture — we do not store or know your passwords. If you lose or forget a password, the encrypted data cannot be recovered by anyone, including NourCrypt's creators. Always keep secure backups of your passphrases.

2. Use at your own risk

NourCrypt is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. While it uses standard cryptographic primitives (PBKDF2, AES-256-GCM), you are responsible for verifying your own data security requirements.

3. File size limits

NourCrypt supports files up to 500 MB in modern browsers. Performance depends on your device's available RAM and CPU. Older or memory-constrained devices may experience slower processing with very large files.
